I don't think it's rational for anybody over there to write custom software or output configs. They've been clear with what they're measuring, and it's shown on this output. Moving on...

What is over the top about the “marketing”?

The “ultra-accurate” button rifled barrel seems the most glaring.
The innovators in “adaptive controlled round feed” is another in my view. The only innovation I can tell is adding the word adaptive.

Less obvious is the inclusion of marketing fluff in the description and an almost total lack of actual information like barrel length, twist rate, trigger pull weight adjust range, length of pull, weight of rifle, muzzle threading, ect…
Not to mention the details discerning buyers would like to know like throat length/geometry, magazine length, barrel air gauge specs, rifling style, what bullets and seating depths were used for the 100 rd cycle test, ect…

The product page doesnt even look to have a “Specs” tab.

Im not a potential buyer so not one to spend energy on.

I would assume stock cerakote won’t hold up under hard use, barrel/action riding under and around your other gear from what I saw would be telling.

Cerakote on carbon wears as expected. Properly applied cerakote on a stainless barrel lasts longer than a barrel lives (in most chamberings).

Seeing as AICS magazines are designed for Push Feed actions, will the factory magazines be getting the feed lips shortened to utilize the CRF feature of the bolt? Or will I need to do that when I get the rifle home.

This is a common problem I ran into when ARC and Bighorn started to offer CRF actions intended to be used with push feed magazines. The long lips of the push feed magazine prevent the bolt face from picking up the next cartridge because it is pressed up by the neck of the one below it instead of being released sooner and being pressed up higher by the shoulder. Simple fix that makes these actions actually CRF in real life. This is one of the reasons Ted came out which his own magazine that coincidently had shorter lips than AI Magazines.

Also if the action a flat bottom clone or a round bottom bastard copy of a Win 70? I assume flat bottom but want to make sure. Thanks for helping bringing another cool project to market

The LOP spacer kit is going to be standard on Marshall Rokstoks? Any idea of max LOP with standard # of spacers and screws?

Easy pass… all of my Tikkas shoot factory ammo less than 1.5 MOA, at a fraction of the price. Also, it seems strange to be cranking out Rokstoks for a new rifle when guys have been waiting over a year for their original Rokstok orders. Just sayin.

Different mold… also is your tikka chopped, threaded, braked, cerakoted, bottom metaled and in a rokstock with a trinity rail? If so, how long did it take for you to put all of that together? Because you certainly didn’t do it off the shelf. I think the price point is about $600 too steep but could see how this would appeal to a lot of people, particularly ones that want mod 70 actions.

I get that it’s a different mold. It’s taking away bandwidth from outstanding orders and places of arguably higher demand. I took a six month break from RS. When I left, everything was out of stock, you couldn’t order new stocks or quite a few accessories, and guys were still waiting on orders from 9 months earlier. I came back from my sabbatical and nothing has changed except a bunch of side projects.

My Tikka is chopped, threaded, in a rokstok with an arca/pic. I think I’ve got $650 in the rifle, $500 in the stock, maybe $150 for chopping and threading. A muzzle brake is funny. DBM and cerakote I have no need or interest in. Seems like a niche market with some extra fluff. I’m pretty damn practical. I’m into my tikkas for half of this cost, and I’m willing to bet they will go toe to toe with this. I shoot around 1.1 10 round groups in all three rifles. It just won’t look as cool.

Regardless, it’s frustrating to see side projects like this rather than focusing on fulfilling existing orders. I want to buy two more Rokstoks and you can’t even order them. My son turns 18 in August 26 and I’m legitimately wondering if I can even get a Rostock delivered by spring 26 in time for range practice.

It’s not my business, they can clearly run it however they want. This and the wooden sticks and some of the other stuff that I’m catching up on are head scratchers for me, as a customer and outsider.
