Anyone using the um TIKKA bottom metal and mags? Made a dummy round for the smith and was playing around with the mag, when the cartridge is moved forward to “feed” the nose dives down and stops when it hits the mag box.. what am i missing/ doing wrong?

I am having the same issue. I am switching back to factory mags.

You can but they're either a couple weeks out or by the end of summer season depending on who you speak to. I've had a set backordered for a few months.

Any data on the coated vs non coated dtac? Asking because I ordered mine a few months ago and just realized the box does not have coated checked. It was a phone order so pretty sure it was a miscommunication. Is it worth buying the kit to do it myself?

Another step closer. Barreled action should be here this next week. Got a Maven coming for glass. Back ordered some dies.

We do prefits for Tikkas and BATs. BATs are spot on with consistency and Tikkas are pretty good. It is still best to have the action in hand. We also have 6 UM-30 reamers in stock at this moment.

Whidden has the 6 UM-30 die making reamers so you can order the dies from us, but it still takes about 10 weeks.
