The shoulder won’t be fully formed. But it will be necked 6mm and head stamped 6UM.
So just load and shoot?

then run through due to bump shoulder and set neck tension and your done?

Just saw a video of an az bull getting dumped at a little over 600 with this cartridge, and it sounds like Ryan’s Wyo bull was similar. Makes a guy kind of want to play with this little guy.

I have seen that video as well. Very similar to my bull.

Do you prefer the long version of the spartan over the short?
I use both. The shorter bipod is in a side pouch of bino harness. The “long legs” are strapped to pack ready to deploy quickly for seated shots over tall brush.

I bought a second full bipod and then use the “long legs” on that one.

I find that the long legs are used on way more shots than the shorter “long” bipod. Just depends on the hunt and area though.

Photos of both bipods, either one can be easy to shoot from in seconds. Great system.

What’s going to be the process for getting some of this brass? Is there going to be a list for pre-order? I have a feeling this stuff is going to sell fast and I want to get 200 at least .

We don’t have the nuts and bolts figured out yet. But this thread will be updated first and go on sale here first.

Not sure if its been asked or not, but for us non reloaders, what would the support for the 6UM from Unknown look like? Will they eventually have 6UM loads for general sale or would you have to do a rifle specific load dev and the associated costs that come along with that? I'm intrigued but I don't reload, so maybe its not for me.
