Form and I talked about building one off of a 26 Nosler but figured out fast the brass sucks. So Jake and I did some figuring and decided on the 6.5 SAUM ADG brass. We wanted to hit 3400 FPS with a 115 grain bullet and a 20” barrel.

No they are both just naked barrels. The UM will have a can once I’m done fire forming

Guessing mid to high 60s.

I built a 6WSM this should have similar capacity. Mine was an 18" barrel, got around 3200fps with 105s. Good luck with your build!

I used winchester brass because its what I had. H1000 and RL25 if I remember correctly. I can check my notes.

Tried RL33, Retumbo and H1000. Ended up at 64gr of H1000 for my load with a 105 VLD

I’m getting 3200 with a 110 SMK and 59g of 7828 with the FF loads. I hope with the better brass and powder I can slap 3400 on the ass.
