Sometimes to much of a good thing is just to much of a good thing.Just an FYI we have +Ped three 6UMs the results have not been good. The standard throat seems to be the optimal design.

How the baffle broke off the weld. How was that determined, just out of curiosity?
New ace barrel?Got the new 6UM up and running.
650 yard head shot
Forgot to take autopsy pictures but my buddy used a 57 gr out of his 243 on an antelope. Quartering away at 320ish yards the bullet punched through the liver and exited. Second bullet hit around 400 near the first entry hole and I heard it ricochet. Heavier bullets going slower may tumble or if used on a bigger animal.Could you tell if the bullet actually tumbled ?

No problem. Just sharing knowledge to allow for better functionality of the forum.Good deal, I didn’t know that. Thanks Jay
5in +p 22UM Suppressed is where I immediately went with this
1 in 1"What twist rate is required to stabilize a DTAC when you've only got 1" of rifling?
probably have to switch to a 50 grn bullet so it doesn't stick out the muzzle1 in 1"

Doesn’t seem like it. The 103 eldx and maybe the 100 tgk are being tested but seems like the dtac is itI dont know if I missed it in the thread, but is there a match bullet or lead cored bullet other than the nose ringed DTACs that will handle 6UM velocities?
Do you mean handle as in the bullet doesn't hold together at all, or handle as in terminal performance at those velocities?I dont know if I missed it in the thread, but is there a match bullet or lead cored bullet other than the nose ringed DTACs that will handle 6UM velocities?
Sure. If the barrel is an 8 twist you shouldn't have issues with the popular 100g+ bullets.I dont know if I missed it in the thread, but is there a match bullet or lead cored bullet other than the nose ringed DTACs that will handle 6UM velocities?
