Does anyone have a Tikka .270 ? I'm looking for boxed ammo that works.
I tried all the variations of Nosler. Not good enough. 2" groups.
I tried a few others. Not good enough.
I still haven't gotten my hands on ELD-X.
Any recommendations out there ?

Not with a Tikka, but I have gotten good results with the 130-grain Hornady Whitetail.

I don’t shoot a lot of copper bullets any more, but my 270 shot the 130 ttsx barnes bullets in their factory loading

OP it sounds like you’ve tried 5-6 types of factory ammo and nothing has shot well. Is that right? If so I’d be checking action screws, scope mounts, rings etc. If all that checks out I’d be calling Tikka. Guns can be a little picky, but if they won’t shoot 6 different types of factory ammo it maybe points to a bigger issue of barrel or chamber.

What stock are you using? And what bullet weight are you aiming for? I’ve had luck with Sako stuff and Federal Fusions at the 140 gr. Mine is a superlite with a replaced recoil pad.

What he said. What scope you using? My 270 is a drill with any 130 class bullet I have tried. If cheap 130 SST's don't shoot something mechanically is wrong or you're flinching.
