I keep my 77/22 indoors during foul weather because it isn't stainless, it's a synthetic blues model but I also have a stainless 10/22 with the exact same scope as the 77/22 has (leupold vx1r 2-7x28). I don't have any aftermarket stuff in either rifle but at some point I'd like to change the triggers out. The 10/22 could be fine with that trigger ruger makes but I'd like something nicer for the 77/22.

I've got a Ruger 10/22 takedown in the Magpul Backpacker stock with tech sights that I'm hoping to use for rabbit and squirrel at some point.

I have more then a few, most a fair bit modified. Most of the time right now I find my self taking my Lilja barreled, suppressed, CZ out shooting out to 200 yards at my little spinners. And almost always have the buck mark along also

Not a rifle either, but this is the latest in my arsenal. My only other .22 is about 30 years old. Can’t wait for it to warm up a bit and see how this shoots.

does anyone actually hunt with a .22 ?

I’ve killed countless numbers of small game with a .22 as a kid. My main reason was to feed the hawks and owls that I would steal from nests and raise for pets. I hunted every day after school, and sometimes woke up early and went hunting before school. Oh, I killed my first deer with a .22 as well.

For some reason when I first read this thread I was thinking only .22 rifles. Anyway, here’s a few more in my safe, from top to bottom: A Henry lever action that was my daughter‘s ninth birthday present last year, a Colt (modeled after the Peacekeeper), that was passed down to me from my grandfather, and a Ruger Convertible Six that my dad bought for me, over 30 years ago, for my 17th birthday.

I've had a revelation in my rimfire world. CCI Quiet 22 ammo. Got some on an ammo trade with a coworker as boot. I love this stuff. I have shot 5 or so squirrels in the last few weeks from my bathroom window and my wife barely knows anything happened. Shooting open sights with a 65 year old gun that my grandpa used is neat too.

I have an old Remington pump .22 my father gave me. I am going to purchase a CZ bolt action .22 with a nice walnut stock. They seem like a sweet little rifle. If I could find one I would purchase a Ruger 77 22 LR, but can't seem to find one anyplace.
