That’s scooting along! What projectile are you shooting? Here’s my new 22CM and dedicated thermal gun. First 18 rounds out of the gun. The barrel seems to already gained speed in the first 40 rounds. I’m around 3950fps with 39.5 grains of Varget.
Shot a coyote in the back of the head last night and there was no skull cap left.
A 53gr vmax. My gun smith ordered a reamer specifically for the 53-55grainers.That’s scooting along! What projectile are you shooting?

No I’ve got a Nocpix H50R that I put on after i verified the accuracy was there with 39.5 grains. Are you just using a clip on for thermal?
How fast you running those? I ran them at 3450 with N555 from a 22in barrel, made a mess of coyotes. Can’t help with H4350, but I’m .020” off the lands with the 77 TMK. Shoots them well with RL-26 and Alpha brass.
That is wicked. What twist is the barrel?A 53gr vmax. My gun smith ordered a reamer specifically for the 53-55grainers.

It’s a 1:12 twist from PBBThat is wicked. What twist is the barrel?
My 22-250 barrel was toast, so I put my LS Wild group buy barrel in the game.
PBB 18”, 7.5 twist, 22 creed .120, Lite Hybrid contour, 5/8 threaded 32.25oz no fluting:
77gr SMK: 2.54” (lands at 2.5630”) 38.5gr H4350 3045fps

I’m prob a little warm (no signs) w the TMKs but seeing 3350 on 20” barrel.
Let us know how the PBB ends up shooting the 80 & 88’s.The PBB barrel is great with the 77s.

I wish i could get my 1:7 PVA barrel that cost twice as much to shoot the 88s like this.
Nice. I have a PBB that @hereinaz put together. Likely gonna shoot the 80 m or x just have to see which shoots better in factory loads. The PBB barrel is great with the 77s.

Ill go back and forth soon waiting on mirage to pass and post pics.Let us know how the PBB ends up shooting the 80 & 88’s.
We should start a separate thread for load data on those pbb barrels. I ran a few powders with 80x and they were so-so. The factory box of 80x shot real well, so I know it's possible.Nice. I tried the 80X with 2 powders in my rechambered tikka barrel and it hated them. Loves the 88's and 77's but not dice on the 80's. M was ok, X was 2"+ groups. We should start a separate thread for load data on those pbb barrels. I ran a few powders with 80x and they were so-so. The 80Xs are little bastards and picky on everything.I tried the 80X with 2 powders in my rechambered tikka barrel and it hated them. Loves the 88's and 77's but not dice on the 80's. M was ok, X was 2"+ groups.
I didn't feel like spending too much time tinkering with different powders and seating depth so I just moved on. 77's and 88's shoot great at 100 so for fun am going to test them at 800 and pick whichever shoots better to hunt with. The 80Xs are little bastards and picky on everything.
If you obtain a load that shoots then with decent velocity and around 1 MOA let it roll.
