Texas management buck hunt question

Anyone have any experience doing one of these? Thinking of taking the wife where it is a little warmer for a trip. Looking for a free range place.

the deer in my area have been hurt by the severe drought, so most mature bucks are -15 20 bc points , south Texas mld is your best bet for a good management deer in the 135-150 range

The place I hunt was hurt badly this year by the drought. A lot of horns were smaller this year.

Be careful with day hunt places. There are quite a few that have no animals and will take your money knowing you have zero chance. Find some recommendations beforehand if possible.
