FNG here from the Texas panhandle. This will be my first attempt at a diy, public land elk hunt in Colorado this year... which is what brought me around. I have done private before a few times. Now, I'm sick of making excuses why I couldn't go, so I'm going with learning in mind. I'm realistic about my approach, but will pick yalls brains to better my chances, approach and gear.
