Testing MTN OPS Enduro Pre-Workout

Day 6 Mtnrunner260

My last test day ended differently than I planned but still was another test of the product. I hit the gym in the am drinking a scoop of Enduro on the way. Got in a great workout and am glad I had it in my system. Got home and ate some eggs with a smoothie and headed for the tree job. Well on the way there I got a text from the boss asking if I could run an excavator. My reply was why not. I've run several pieces of equipment but not an ex. I spent 11 hours in it. It was a good day and I think the enduro helped with my energy and drive to want to keep working. And now I can say I'm pretty good on an excavator.

I want to thank Robby and Mtn Ops for letting me be a part of both the Yeti and Enduro tests. I will be ordering both when its time to resupply. I have also read good things about their protein so may grab some of that as well.

From my two test I can tell you that this stuff works. As mentioned by others the Yeti gets you "up" more but the Enduro keeps you going just as well. I really think the Yeti will be great for the 6th day of a hunt where you need to get a couple thousand vertical to where you saw the big buck or bull at last light. As Robby said if you are struggling to get workouts in or just starting a program this stuff will help get you to the gym/hills/range.

As a final test I think someone (besides me) should take a scoop of each and see how many times they can run around a Cabelas or something.

A quick question to those who are using/have tried the Mtn. Ops. since I can't seem to find the info on their site. How many servings does a container, say, for example, Yeti, contain?

Day 6 / COlineman78

My last day of testing I wanted to give it another real world test and go for a long hike with a 45lb pack on Green Mountain. Unfortunately there was still quite a bit of snow on the ground so I decided to go as late as possible in hopes that the trails were passable in the late afternoon. I got there about 5:00 and started up the hill. This particular trailhead starts with a steep climb so it really got the heart rate going. I certainly felt the benefits of Enduro with the recovery after this and was able to keep a pretty fast pace throughout. There was only one really bad spot condition wise on the trail on my way up and made it the 1.83 mi to the top in 43 minutes. It's here where it all started to fall apart condition wise. Rather than take the way back that I came up where trail conditions weren't terrible I decided to take a different and longer trail back which turned out to be quite terrible. 3.67 miles and 79 minutes later (5.5 miles, 2 hours total) with muddy shorts, boots and pack I arrived back at my car just in time to hurry to a flag football game across town. I had plenty of stamina to make it through the game, but was suffering through a pretty severe blister on my toe. I did see about 30 deer with 1 descent buck (these are city deer that completely ignore you even while walking right at them).

In conclusion, Enduro delivers on lowering your heart rate for similar workouts allowing you to exert a little more effort and also quick recovery. However, what it does not give you is energy and will not by any means replace your morning coffee (or Monster in my case). I look forward to giving Yeti a shot and since I tend to work out late I may have to do a combination of the two. I am also curious about Blaze as I have taken thermogenics successfully in the past.

I would like to thank both Robby and MtnOps for the chance to test this product and it has only reinforced my desire to try more of their products.
