It was a great day.

A very memorable hunt but i wouldnt mind forgetting the packout. Pack was overloaded and very uncomfortable but with the extra 75 pounds the creek i crossed to get him couldnt handle the weight coming back accross. I fell through the ice. The creek wasnt very deep just above the knees but the way i fell the pack came up to the top of my shoulders and head making me soaked from head to toe making me crawl back to shore.But i crawled back to the shore i came from in the confusion so iI still had to get across. Ended up tying spare shoe laces and my belt to gether and dragged it behind me to cross the ice and distribute the weight. Very scary as it was about 10 degrees with 25 mph wind and the truck was a mile away. I made it but if I slowed down enough to rest i could feel hypothermia kicking in.
