Its really pretty simple. We have areas that are open to motorized access and areas that arent. They have a motor, thus should be allowed in areas that allow for motorized access and not in areas that dont.

As for getting old. I plan to enjoy life while I am young and accept that I will not be able to do things I once was when I am older. The last thing I will ever wish is to take the opportunities I had as a young person from the generations after me because I am selfish.

This is an irrelevant post. He states that he is anticipating that exact scenario. He also points out that there are lots of places open to motorized vehicles. Also, you're ignoring that disabled persons are allowed additional assistance for access.

How would you feel if you had a bad back and bad knees but you still put in a hard effort to get into a wilderness area to get away from all the pressure of guys in UTVs and some teenagers rolled through on some ebikes just as you were sneaking into range of a buck of a lifetime?

I'm 69 and no longer have the back nor knees; he speaks the truth.
Ride your e-bike in the park, to the local concerts, or down roads open to vehicles, they don't belong in non motorized areas.
