Can anyone tell me if this is a wild or farm raised sheep? I can't find much info as the original owner is not around to confirm. Im guessing the numbers on the back have to do with the mount instructions perhaps. Thank you.

Flathead screws are a dead giveaway. 70's. That said the mount looks good if it is 56 years old.

Is it plugged (a metal disc with a number visible in the back of one of the horns)? Just curious.

Mount does look good to be from the 70's. Most Dall mounts from that era would be yellowish if they've been on display in the (sun)light.

I bought it on Ebay and get it friday so Ill report back. Its a long story but really just trying to figure out if its a wild Dall or some sort of farm raised in Texas hybrid sort of thing. Chatgpt says its not a wild Dall so trying to get a human who knows what they are talking about to verify...Figured yall know better than that robot.
