I quickly gutted him and then drug him out of the tall weeds to the tree edge, took some more pics and started butchering

No way do I drag a whitetail anymore - they pack just like elk!

I got all the meat in game bags, gathered up my stuff and hiked back to my truck to get my Kelty Cache Hauler.

Hiked back in to the buck and loaded up
