talk me out of Arken ELP4 or EP5

I've shot 300 rounds thru the 2 17's last couple days, but only out to 300 yards. Both have the 6-24's mounted. Not a ton of dialling but I'll have to wait to go further because of weather coming in and snow on the ground. They still haven't shipped my 4-16's, so can't comment on them yet....

How's the glass at max power? Is the clarity good enough to shoot at 1000 yards? I'm thinking about getting the 4-16 for a light weight rifle build.

When did you order the 4x16? I ordered one on December 12th. Said 4-6 weeks when I ordered wondering how accurate that will be. Excited to check it out.

I preordered my 4-16 MOA in November, I got it yesterday. Seems like standard Arken quality. Will be sometime before the rifle it is going on will be built so who knows when I actually get to shoot with it.

Very nice. I got mine as well. I've shot my rifle with it a few times. I like it seems solid and will do the job.

I would lean toward the EP5 althoug hI've read reviews other models may have better eyebox. I compared the EP5 to the SH4J last night and couldnt really tell the difference in eye relief.
