Talk me out of 300 WSM

That might be the case. They updated the 300 win mag to the 10 twist and I assume the 300wsm is on the list to update too. Hopefully it's been done. The 300win I had from Tikka wouldn't even shoot 220 grain with the 11 twist.

My t3x 300wsm 200gr is the limit it will stabilize the eldx200gr shoots great sub moa out to 200 and the Terminal Ascent 200gr is right around 1moa but longer distances I guess they could get wonkey but in Alabama I don't really have any shots longer than that unless it's on power lines but my fav bullet is the 185 berger hybrid it'll touch holes for 3 shots n does damage on white tails

Hate to revive an old thread and maybe I missed it but what coal are you guys running with 215gr or heavier? I’ve got a defiance medium action and trying to decide on this or a 7 saum running 190s

I run mine on a defiance medium. I’m right at 3.210”. 30 thou off the lands. 2740 out of a 20” tube

Thanks for that, mine won’t be hunting rifle and will have a 30-32” barrel. Hoping if I can go that route I can push it to 3000 or better.
