Tacoma Fuel mileage

Considering getting a newer Tacoma but want some honest no BS info on what you guys are getting out of yours. Thanks Guys

2016 SR 5 double cab auto (don’t hate I sit in traffic a bunch!) I get around 22-23 highway and 18ish on local roads so avg 20ish

I fill up once a week, about 300 miles. 15-18 mpg.

2019 Toyota TRD Off Road four door short bed. With Canopy and yakima rack 18-20 mpg. When I had Schwab Open Range tires it was steady 20 but switched to Wrangler Ultraterrains and now about 18-19 mpg. Wind plays a big factor where I live.

21 sport 6 speed manual, been averaging around 20, but last tank was 22.5. Mostly 55mph highway with a little city driving.

'23 Tacoma Trail Ed. DCSB 4x4 AT - 17.5 mpg avg. - re-gearing to 4.88 as soon as I can swing it, supposedly fixes some of the constant shifting at the slightest hill, and increases the MPG by 2-3 (at a sacrifice of top speed).

19 DCSB manual, canopy with 255/85/16 tires sit right around 18mpg. I also have a tune that bumped it up about half an mpg. I only drive on weekends so most of my miles are not in stop and go traffic.

My 18 pro on 33s averaged 19 mpg average over 5 years of owning it. Most 50-55mph driving back roads back and forth to work. Super reliable truck but terrible mileage and power. Tuned help but was still a dog.

I have 2022 with a manual transmission and it averages in the high teens. It's also the slowest and most under powered vehicle I've ever owned.

I have a 2018. It gets around 20 running around the mtns where I live. Gets more if I’m on the HWY

I have two tacomas, 1996 and a 2020. The 2020 gets 18-20mpg, but I drive fairly fast everywhere I go. My wife gets better gas mileage. I don’t worry about gas mileage most of the time as it’s not why I bought a tacoma.

I have a 21 today I got up to 24 but I usually avg 18 to 20. Ok I drove 3 hours and alot of flat and down hill but did show 24 for a mile or 2.

2012 4 cylinder. Extra cab 6' bed. I get about 21 driving about 50/50 highway/city miles. In the summer I have stock trd wheels with the Goodyear tires that come with them. In the winter I have steely wheels and studded Goodyear Duratracs 235/85/16's and they drop mileage down to 17 mpg.

Wow, i’m glad my F150 gets 21-22 on average. I thought the Tacomas did better on gas than what you guys are saying here.
