Why does it seem like one out of every three TAC vanes has a bend to it out of the package? I’m talking about a crease in them if you are looking at them from the back after installing on an arrow.

TAC vanes are great in as far as flying well and being quiet, but they just aren’t worth it to me. They take a permanent set really fast and are a pain to adhere. If they get bent, even in the package, they are that way for good.

Thats what I am finding as well. I love how they fly but about 30% are unusable because they are bent in some form out of the package. I just don't really see it being talked about.

Is it just the one pack you’re having issues with? Over the years I’ve had probably a dozen or so different packs and haven’t had bent vanes in them. Reach out to Tac Vanes- they’ll make it right, I’m sure.

I have had roughly 6-7 different packs over the last 5 years and all of them have had it. I will take some pictures tonight. I keep wanting to go back to them but stray away after always running into it.

Maybe you should order from a different source? (I'm assuming that you are ordering them.) I don't seem to have the 'bent' issues with mine. Possibly it's an issue in transit.

I think a lot of issues are overlooked or just dealt with as they do work so well. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying different vanes, and when I got the tac to work, they were great but just ended up not being worth the hassle.

Lately I have been using the Iron Will 2.5. Stupid expensive and only come in a pack of 40, but I can honestly say they have been the best vanes I have tried for my setup.
