Anyone heading to TAC in PA this year? Thinking about heading up Friday morning and shooting a course then another Saturday. First time doing one so we shall see how lay arrows I burn up

TAC PA has a very clean course layout compared to other locations, lot of open areas, you'll still go through forests to shoot along the routes. Tremendous amount of sun exposure (when not raining) so bring sunscreen and ample water containment. It will feel hotter since it's East coast humidity.

There is 1 water station per course and it's not always in the dead center of the course layout, just depends on where they can access via roads to get water setup. Take snacks with you and spending money. The PA and Utah events are some of the best vendor attended events on the tour.

Otherwise practice and know your setup, understand your arrow flight path (esp when in the woods).

I've shot all the locations except Vermont and worked for them 1 season. They're all fun.

Awesome. Being as I reside on the east coast the majority of the shots here are 30-40 and in closer. I regularly practice out to 80 or so so I’m excited to actually put that to the test on a larger scale.

That's good! I would practice out to 120 if you can. Even if the course description says out to 80, that really means add another 20 yards to it for 3-4 targets.

Also, meant to add, if you're doing either Prime or Sitka courses, definitely understand your cut shots. Rather that be using an RF with built-in compensation and arrow speed, or printing out a cutsheet to put in your bino harness.
