The new starlink sat 2.0 coming next year will apparently support services for T Mobile's current cell devices (no upgrade or special phones needed).

Until the government forces every citizen to get a chip emplanted in their forehead, you're still able to turn your device off or leave it at home. Just use the "I was saving battery for emergencies" excuse if someone starts bugging you about it.
