Synthetic Bags

Has anyone found a reasonably priced synthetic that is true to temp and relatively light and packable? I am looking at the Big Agnes line bc of the discounts available through Promotive but haven't heard much about their synthetics. Kifaru are nice but out of my price range.

Yup. The Ultralamina was my first thought but I think that it's been replaced with the Hyper. If you can wait for a 20% off sale at REI, you may not find a better deal.

On the page it gives you a code for 20% off this bag. I have the 32 degree version and it seems quite true to temperature but I do wish the zipper was longer to vent easier on warm nights.

Mountain hardwear bags are nice but you have to baby the zipper. They snag alot and there's a broken ultralamina zipper still sitting on my table. Watch eddie Bauer for 40%off store wide emails and check out their synthetic bags. They use climashiled insulation as well. Wiggys are big but bomb proof. Decide on what you can and can't live with. For me, the zipper has to work.

months ago. Will be first time out with it this year though.
