SWFA zero stop shims

Bought two sets of the green shims. Installed per the instructions on a 10X. Measured down 24 mils. Put the 20 and the 4 on. Stopped very slightly under zero. Took the 4 out and added the 3.5. Stops .5ish below zero per Form’s gospel.
Installed the second set on a gen 1 3-15X. Used the FAFO method. Arrived at a very useable stop with very little trouble.
Great product that is well worth the price!!

I have a SWFA 3-9X that had 12 mils of travel from my zero to where the turret bottoms out. I started with the base-10, 10, and 12.

This worked, but I could go about .5 mil past my zero. The second combination I tried was perfect: base-9.5, 10 and 13.

After checking zero at 100 I practiced at 300 and 500 yards today and I really liked having the zero stop there to give feedback as I was approaching and reaching zero. These shims are a home run upgrade for this optic.
This saved my day. I know the directions are right, but i needed these pics to get it right. My only question is: isnt the thickest washer supposed to be on top? The way in this pic seems like it would be right. Does it matter?

Doesn't matter. Half of mine are Jerry rigged combos from leftover shim sets, they all work the same

yes, I was thinking that. Definitely could do another scope with this set. Not sure if that is a feature or a bug for our seller, but I think of it as him offering a lot of value.
