Ordered mine Monday and it just arrived today, it came USPS. Hopefully get to shoot it this afternoon but it does seem clearer than my 6x and 3x seems quite usable.

I have not mounted mine yet but the glass seems good and I like the reticle.

I have this one, an Rs1.2, a swfa 6x and a 1-4 that all need to be mounted. I also have a tikka 223, and m70s in 300 and 338wm and a muzzle loader that all need glass. Have not quite decided what is going where yet.

You gonna go out in this nastiness and shoot? I got mine in 84043 exactly 48 hours after SWFA called me on the backorder 😉
Yes. I shot the 223 with my rs1.2 today to test some AAC ammo.

Swfa shipped mine quickly.... It's USPS that sucks ass. I think I'm done with them as often as possible. I should have chose the same price UPS shipping option.

Is this normal for the diopter to be adjusted out this far to get a clear sight picture? I don’t like all those threads being exposed.

That's how my last (older) swfa 3-9x diopter was set.

USPS super sucks.... The more you use them. I used to not have any issues, but after being on rokslide for 4-5 years and buying/selling more stuff than is healthy, I've used USPS way too much due to their flat rate boxes. They're great at losing stuff and avoiding the insurance claim payout as much as possible.

I agree...I use USPS less and less these days. Best to use UPS if you are sending anything expensive or important.

Some of us fill that gap with an o-ring or cover with tape ...
I thought of the o ring solution. Do you know what size o ring works?

Seems odd that this design exists since every other scope i have (even a cheap Athlon) the diopter is set with the ring in the front of it. All that grease in there is a crud magnet.

Otherwise, being my first SWFA it seems like a really solid scope, it’s not going to win any beauty contests but if it’s as rugged and reliable as everyone says then that’s all that matters. Especially for the price
