I wonder if that will be the same for scopes ordered in the years before that ... (Genuine question and not hassling SWFA; I nearly ordered a couple years ago and have always wondered what would have happened ...)

The fact that the 3-9 was not moved to the “discontinued” section on their website leads me to believe that model will be unchanged for the foreseeable future.

Or they left us there to keep us all hopeful for its eventual return ...

Do you find the dials are often rotated on accident? My Leupold dials often moved on accident.

I have only had one time where maybe the windage dial moved in the field. I honestly couldn't remember if I left it that way after a range session meaning to rezero... I have since started taking notes again. I can't be certain it moved.

One of mine is an early model, mildot reticle. The other one is only a couple of years old with the milquad. Both have been great; hence, I want another one.

The leupold are the only scope I’ve used that the turret moves accidentally, I have not had any of that with swfa… of course it could happen, but it’s not an annoyance like it is with leupold (scope I’m speaking of was a vx3 cds)

Tomorrow it will be my one year anniversary waiting for the 3-9 HD!

"Waiting" might be too strong of a term as I'd mostly forgotten that it was ordered but maybe someday the SWFA fairy will show up and the peasants (me) will rejoice (maybe).

Two years and about a month after placing the order SWFA called to notify me that they have the scope! Hahaha

They're still honoring the pricing from that black friday sale so I guess I'll have a scope on the way Monday.
