Shifting to the center screw turrets on the standard SS, with a zero stop, is a really nice change IMO. I will be interested to see how the 3-9HD gen2 changes. I must say, if they just have larger turrets/caps and a zero stop, but otherwise remain the same, the Gen1 3-9 with the smaller turrets and 20oz weight remains a goldilocks in the scope world for price/reticle/function/weight/FFP/size.
The gen2 3-15, if durable and not too bulky with the smaller turret option, is a very appealing 'do all' option for the price if needing new. Though I wish it had the reticle with bold diamonds and .07mil croshair thickness.
