Made in Japan with zero stop, and option for capped turrets (still bulky though) or larger turrets, with the same durable guts at ~$400 will still be a deal especially if there are any improvements to the optics.

You know, for all of our skepticism, wouldn't it be hilarious if Ryan and Form had somehow teamed up with SWFA and managed to keep it quiet ... and we had an SWFA 3-9 with better glass and the THLR reticle.

At under 20oz, cheaper, and with a superior reticle, it could give the RS 1.2 a run for its money ...

I'm hoping they do something awesome on Black Friday like ship all you guys a new scope that have backorders for the price you agreed to pay when backordering
That's a little bit of a wildcard because they have always said they would contact BOs to see if they still wanted it, and then get payment. I know the card I used when ordering expired a long time ago. They seem to be a standup company, but it has crossed my mind that all BOs get cancelled because that model has been replaced with a new model.

Yes that's more likely. . Surely they're aware that people are angry due to that situation and would like to appease the crowd in some way

For the folks that are interested in ordering a news SWFA next Friday, I have an in-store credit from a scope warranty that I’d be willing to pass along at a discount. If I don’t get any interest here, I’ll post a WTS ad in the optics classifieds. PM me if interested.

And that one is 2nd focal plane ... from memory, the closest zoom range in an FFP Trijicon is 24.4 oz - which is 4.4 oz above the target weight that Ryan posted.
For a plain duplex, I don't think it matters too much whether FFP or SFP.
