They call and email you to ask if you still want it.
And I believe they give you 3 days before moving onto the next person.

If not, might want to delete this post so as not be starting something ...

Yes. I believe in response to a poster wanting a new scope this winter, Form said there was traction on the WUBTS, but it would be >>2-3 months. In short if SWFA starts sellin scopes again this year it won’t be to the specs shown in the WUBTS thread.Well let's see here. First SWFA says more to come.
Then this:
Would you buy this scope?
Scope specs: FFP 3-12x40 to 3-12x44mm Consistently holds zero through 3-foot drops and 3,000 rounds of constant use. The reticle is specially designed for 25 to 600 yards, with bold outer posts and correct center aiming references. Zero Stop Low profile top turret. Capped windage. Large...rokslide.com
Coincidence??
I did not see that and just got a second RS1.2. So less likely I will be buying one if true.Yes. Are you implying that the WUBTS is being discussed/built by SWFA?Yes. I was just injecting a little humor. Few people know what is going on with either of these scope lines. When they release information, then we will know. Everything else is like taking a math test without seeing the questions, A.K.A. guessing!Yes. I still need 2 scopes in the next year or two. Originally thought that might be 2 SWFAs, maybe a 6x and a 3-9.I did not see that and just got a second RS1.2. So less likely I will be buying one if true.
Gotcha, lol.I was just injecting a little humor. Few people know what is going on with either of these scope lines. When they release information, then we will know. Everything else is like taking a math test without seeing the questions, A.K.A. guessing!
If SWFA has $xx,xxx capital, and the WUBTS has $xxx, xxx capital, and SWFA has $xx,xxx in debt, with $x,xxx of that being warranty back credit, and the manufacturer requires an inital order of xxx scopes at xxx cost per scope, and Roksliders kill xx kittens per day from drooling over the idea, how many kittens must die before we get our scope?I was just injecting a little humor. C'mon man ... there's a whole 6 out of 52 weeks left!Gotcha, lol.
In reality, I think SWFA had that up a few months before the WUBTS thread. At this point I’ll be shocked if they ever release a new scope. I doubt they meet their own 2024 deadline.
SWFA 6X come up for sale in the classifieds from time to time. I have owned four SWFAs. One was bought directly from them on backorder. All the rest have come from here.I still need 2 scopes in the next year or two. Originally thought that might be 2 SWFAs, maybe a 6x and a 3-9.
Now I’m kinda giving up on SWFA and going for a RS1.2. Hopefully the Rokscope/WUBTS for the second one.
There was an article sometime earlier this year about their christmas tree reticle but thats the most news on their new product I’ve seen.SWFA recently sent a scope to review to the guys at Long Range Only. It’s nothing special, but it was nice to see someone at the mother ship is still alive and trying to build up interest. I wonder who else was given a scope to review?
