I think the rokscope is going to pick up right where SWFA left off. Reuse the turret internals, cap the windage, zero stop, better reticle. Its gonna be sexy
So, not to dash anyone’s hopes, but; if/when SWFA releases new scopes, will you assume they have the same quality as the past models? If they have new turrets, new reticles, etc, would you assume the internals haven’t changed? I’m thinking whatever new stuff they release is going to have to re-earn shooters trust. Fresh drop tests and all. Hopefully we get another $300 ish scope with a good reticle that passes the drop tests.
But, there is also the chance they analyzed the profit margin, cut some corners, and sold out to a different 3rd party manufacturer that will produce junk. I sure hope not. At least the site hasn’t changed to say “coming in 2025” yet.
Light Optical Works aka LOWAnyone know the name of the Japanese plant that makes them?
Just makes no sense. From what I read there is a demand for the product. Wonder what the delay is ?

Well they still have plenty of dedicated capital from backorders that have yet to be fulfilled . Maybe I'll get my January 2023 3-9 eventually.Im sure its a money thing. I just have a bare Tikka waiting for glass.

Did you already pay? I didn’t think they actually charged people until the product shipped?Well they still have plenty of dedicated capital from backorders that have yet to be fulfilled . Maybe I'll get my January 2023 3-9 eventually.
I checked another forum and Ilya Koshkin posted “more coming soon” and that they will keep the mil quad reticle. I know he tested the new reticle but it would be nice to have SWFA put some info out and not a guy on an internet forum put out tidbits of info.I don't know what is odder - the wait, or the silence.
No, but the funds are there when they want themDid you already pay? I didn’t think they actually charged people until the product shipped?
