I was at the range yesterday, dialing in my 280 AI . I did a 1/10 mil left, it moved the point of impact 1-1/4" not .375. Dialed it back right 1/10 and it came back to the original poi? It's Gen II. Rained out so going to do some more testing in a few days. Anybody have anything like that happen?

At 100 yards? Which model SWFA?

How many shots to determine it was off a click to the right initially? How many to decide it was back after taking off the left click? What's the baseline accuracy of this rifle?

Baseline was approx 30 plus rds through the summer. Yesterday it was about 1/10 mil right with 2 -3 Rd groups. Thin barrel that's why the 3 rd groups. Let bbl. cool and continue etc. This is average for this 280.

Have you done a tracking test on the scope? Usually using a good sized (100% IPSC) piece of cardboard at 100 yards I can get about 7 MILs of vertical adjustment between a couple aiming dots to determine the percent error in scope adjustment. I've never tested horizontal adjustment as I hold for wind in the reticle.
