It really does suit a 223

This is accurate. However, I put it on an 18" T3X Compact .223 that was meant to be for my 9yo, but it ended up heavier overall (9lb 2oz) than my 20" T3x 7mm wearing NXS (8lb 10oz)... darn it.

Yes, yes it does. I'm thoroughly impressed. The lack of parallax turned out to be a non issue for me.

Sorry, not sorry. With a flat faced Timney trigger the Ruger American gen2 ranch with a SWFA 3-9x HD is a freaking amazing little package that can be shortened for kids in about a minute.

With God (and my old man) as my witness, it rolled a coyote at 50 yards before I zeroed or even boresighted that 3-9hd. Its a magic combo

But yeah if you're serious it does shoot the 73eldm well enough!

Haha, good deal. I think there's a lot of wisdom in putting more importance on a sweet personality and being a good cook than on how hot they are. Being hot too is nice, but I'd rather have duct tape on a Tikka stock or good-shooting Ruger than wonder how I ended up with a Fierce.

Why was the 5-20 SS HD taken off the market? Customer support has indicated they are working to produce new higher magnification variable optics, but no indication of the range or timeline.

Every time I've reached out to swfa to ask about the 5-20, I've gotten the same response: "we are not bringing the 5-20 back."

So if you have one, be nice to it. You're not getting a replacement.
