For those of you who have experience with the SWFA 3-9X42, have you found that the lack of a parallax adjustment is an issue or not?
I am contemplating picking one up to put on my shorty Encore. It is an Encore with a 17" 7-08 barrel on it. With my current load of Varget under a 120 grain NBT, it is good to right at 500 yards. As all of the other rifles that I shoot past 300 yards all have parallax adjustments and I dial it right after I dial for elevation, so I can't say that I have had an issue with parallax since I started shooting longer ranges.
My gut tells me that I should be fine, but I am also starting to shoot from "field positions" more and that leads to not being "perfectly behind" the gun at times.
Anyway, just looking for input one way or another.
