SWFA 3-9 possible tracking issue or something else?

I fought this for several weeks on a rifle… I had entered 1.8” on the scope offset and 0.0” on the scope height. Everything looked right on the ap, but all my numbers were 1.8 MOA off.

I don’t think this is what you have going on, but I sure chased my pecker for a while :)

So for everyone who was saying that I needed to make sure my rifle was zeroed dead on, looks like I did need to come up and right one click. It was hard to tell that before since all my other 100 yard 10 shot groups were just over 1.5 moa. I skipped the coffee this morning to be real steady.

My target was not tall enough to shoot 10 mils high, so I shot 7 mils. And measuring from the center of each group, it looks like my scope adjusted 7.5 mils.

Good shooting! Looks like mystery solved.

I'm guessing so, unless anybody else can see something I'm missing. I'd like to do another tall target test at 7 and 12 mils to find the actual correction factor, but it looks to be around -10%. Then the question is do I send it back or just learn to live with it. I don't ever plan to shoot any game past 500 yards so I think I'll be ok.

Edit: I'm from the South and I can't math. The scope IS tracking correctly.
