The 3-9 has a bunch of needless height built into the turret cap which could be removed and a shorter screw used, which seems to be what the OP is doing here.Awesome, just curious, would these also fit any other scopes? Perhaps the 6x if I’m lucky?
He might have been asking about the 10x HD which appears to have the same turret as the 3-9. Probably falls into the category of wait and see if/when produced if it fits the same.Gen 1 fixed 10, no. I’m not sure yet about the Gen 2 turret system compared to the Gen 1 3-9.
Negative. The plain ole $300 fixed 10He might have been asking about the 10x HD which appears to have the same turret as the 3-9. Probably falls into the category of wait and see if/when produced if it fits the same.
See my reply above it’s the brass post on the scope itself that is tall on the Gen 1 fixed scopes. They aren’t getting shorter with only a cap change.Negative. The plain ole $300 fixed 10
Ah, missed that. Also - lame.See my reply above it’s the brass post on the scope itself that is tall on the Gen 1 fixed scopes. They aren’t getting shorter with only a cap change.
I would pick up sets for all my SWFAs (3-9, 6x, and 3-15).It would be great to see them do this for all the SWFA scopes.
