Can someone who has one of these, let me know how much adjustment they have, it seems to be a limiting factor when using the BT turrets.

I don’t have a 20 MOA base on my Sako 75.
So I wanted to know the turret adjustment range after it’s zeroed out.

hope I’m making sense in my explanation

thanks
Ken

A lot depends on your cartridge. I have that scope with custom cut yardage dials on a .300 wsm and on a 6.5prc. I get 8-900 yards. Plenty IMO. I don’t like tactidork crap on my hunting rifles. No canted base either, just standard lightweight Talleys.

You’ll get 800 without issue. I get 850 on my .300 wsm with 180 Hammers, any you have more juice.

When I had a Z5 with BT (and zero set) I had exactly 13.25 MOA of elevation. Sold it since that left too much yardage on the table. Adding a 20 MOA base did nothing.

Identify your zero distance and then your ballistics. Once you hit 13.25 MOA you are done and will not be able to dial any further.

That's a Z5, Z6 3-18x50 does 53 0.1 mil clicks, or 19.06" @ 100 yds
