Swarovski spotting scope question

I'm looking at a ats 65
Is it normal to see this much of the lens?

Looks like that may be a UV filter or something screwed on the the end.

That is a lens filter on the end. Same ones used on camera lens.

Yep that is a UV filter/lens protector screwed onto the spotter.

Yep, a clear lens filter. I often put them on my scopes to keep the objectives nice.
Nice optic but the seller is looking for problems by offering it as "new other" rather than 'used'. He plainly states that he used it for hunting for at least a season if memory serves.

It looks like the STM scope that was here last week.
