Swarovski SLC Timeline

This is probably a question for Swarovski Optik's corporate office, but I don't want to wait until Monday.

Can anyone say definitively when the newest model of SLC came out?

Also, does anyone know if the HD and the current model have same glass?

I'm not sure about that one, and someone might have the answer here. I've found the reps at Swaro are quite helpful if you give them a call as well.

The optical system is substantially the same. The armor was changed and focus knob was simplified for the new model.
