Swaro SLC vs NL fit?

Last year I bought a new set of 10x42 NL pures to upgrade from my slc 10x42s. The SLCs fit my face/eyes perfectly. Best physical fit binos Ive ever owned. I struggle to get the NL Pures to fit my face well. Its almost like the eyecups are too big or at the wrong angle or something. It then can cause issues with the sight picture. Has anyone ever dealt with this and have advice? Im so confused. When mounted on a tripod theyre great but it takes a lot of strain to get them in the right spot.

You've stumbled upon the fact that ergonomics are just as, and often times more important that pure optical ability. SLC's are amongst the finest hunting binos on the planet.

I’ve been considering upgrading from the SLC to the NL. Not sure it’s enough of an upgrade to justify the expense though.

Agreed, how they fit your face/eyes is pretty important. I've been through my share of alpha's and for hunting I still go back to my old Geovids.
