Suppressor wait times

Sharing experience here. 8 days ago my FFL submitted to Silencer Shop the suppressor I bought in order for them to verify it with a Single Shot Trust I bought.

Their status page for my order never changed from "in review" by the SS team. For the last 4-5 days I have called, emailed, and chatted on their website with no success whatsoever. Calls simply time out and go to voicemail, the AI chatbot just shuts down when you request to speak to an agent, no one responds to emails.

Then this morning at around the exact timeframe, I was connected to a sales agent via phone after a 12 min hold, while also getting a response via Facebook messenger from their FB page.

The rep on the phone said he would escalate my ticket to the compliance team because 8 days was way longer than their typical processing times have been - he says they've been averaging 3 days.

The rep via FB chat somehow had deeper connection to compliance and relayed to me what the issue was - my name on my account was not matching what was submitted. (I had named my SS account what I "thought" I would call my trust. Just a simple naming convention for me to differentiate from other suppressors I had bought in the past).

Within minutes of updating my name on my SS account page I receive the email with the esign document in order certify the suppressor request. Ie - the blocker causing the hold up.

It seems they are simply pushing to the side any errors compliance identifies and leaves the customer hanging in order to push "perfectly" submitted applications through to the ATF the fastest.

The rub I have is the zero communication letting me know what was going on, only to find out after I attempted to reach out to them everyday for nearly a week.

That is my own experience - take it for what it's worth here. Just wanted to document.
