Finally got my scythe. Took 3.5 months, but I have a record. Has anybody hunted with these in heavy rain? I know titanium is a very corrosion resistant metal but I am a little worried about it.

Well, finally got approval today. 113 days, roughly 3.5 months. Individual, simple suppressor transfer. When I picked the suppressor up, clerk indicated that approvals were taking longer recently. Thought it was because I voted for Trump

What is the best place to purchase a suppressor from?

I bought one from silencer central 12/20, they finally got my paperwork all submitted and I got approved today but they have to notify law enforcement that I’ll be getting one shipped and then they have to ship it so I’m anticipating another 3 weeks waiting. While waiting for them to get my finger prints I went a local ffl who had a silencer shop kiosk and from walking in the store to getting approved was 1 week. I probably won’t use silencer central any more.

I would go a step further and say your best bet is to pay for digital fingerprints that allow you to buy direct from any local gunstore, cutting out the overhead cost of silencer central/shop.

The suppressor game is getting real competitive and real fast. It's no longer a mysterious and complicated process.

Buy from wherever you can find the best price.

What is the best place to purchase a suppressor from?

I’ve been very pleased with capital armory so far. I agree with others that a good local shop
Is best, but if you don’t have an FFL that sells suppressors nearby (like me), then I think capital armory is the best alternative.
