Approved today, 146 days. And the email went straight to spam, just like it has for many others.

I certified mid and late January. Both filed individual.

Both less than 90 days, I don’t remember how long but it was around 70 for each.

Interesting. Mine is through a trust... maybe that's causing the delay? Hard to apply reason or logic to this process.

My attempt to be patient is fading now that my rifle is finished. Hopefully I get the email soon.

I had two buddies certify same time both on trusts with only them. Both took over 90 days.

I certified on Feb 22 thru SilencerShop. I did a single. Still waiting. Seems like Feb guys are waiting while Jan, April guys are getting them back.

Yes. Even after approval, YOUR atf eform account will NOT show approval because YOU are not the submitter. You will, however, be notified by email (along with the SOT) on approval.

Silencer Central is the issue, guessing their large influx of forms in Jan-Feb had tons of issues and the ATF put all from those months on the backburner. They are hitting heavy into April approvals right now.

From my month or so of keeping track of wait times while I am waiting, there doesn't seem to be anything that can be determined as far as factors that decide when the stamp is approved. It is mostly chronological, but with enough outliers to keep you guessing.

Check the links I posted earlier - the silencer shop one for trusts had max at 120 days and median at like 118 when I certified, those have gone up quite a bit since then, and are now 152 max with 145 median. Individual is slightly less. The reddit thread has a bunch of post trying to understand why some are quicker, but nothing that really holds up.

FINALLY - just got the call that I can pick up the can that I bought on April 8, 2021!! Tax stamp was cashed on 4/28/21. What a bunch of crap that it took that long.
