I completely understand what your saying. However, that was from a really cool dude that worked there and he told me that as a warning in reference to a form I had in process. I’m sure that not everyone who calls gets put at the bottom, but “that guy” just might get some less than favorable treatment.

yes, if you piss them off and your background check has not already been assigned then it's possible. if it's assigned then the agent conducting the BC has no way of knowing that you're overly impatient.

if it's been 8-12 months then it's a good time to call. otherwise, i'd say trust your SOT and hope the mail still functions. these days with quick turn arounds i'd call at 6 months.

to get the suppressor delivered to the SOT or for the tax stamp? TBAC doesn't always have supply sitting on shelves.

Approved 21 Dec 20. They told me to allow up to 45 days for the stamp to get to my FFL, but hoping it goes quicker than that.

Stamp got to my FFL today. So while they said 45 days, it was about 15, including 2 federal holidays. Not bad.

Just found out that my stamp was approved on November 10, check was cashed on April 1. Simply waiting for it to arrive at my dealer. Just over 7 months.

Thought I'd update this with some pertinent info for anyone in the same boat. The ATF is taking their sweet, sweet time getting stamps to dealers right now. The 'standard' time is within 30 days, but I was told to expect 'up to 45 days'. It ended up being 78 days from approval to stamp in hand. I was going crazy thinking my stamp was lost in the mail somewhere so I hope this eases someone's mind.

I just received my first Suppressor (Switchback for .22) only took 4 months ( only, its ridiculous). I was prepared to wait about 9 months. I ordered a Omega a month earlier and haven't received that one yet. How long did other people have to wait? Can't wait to try it on my new Vudoo

Ordered a Full Nelson form 4 trust June 16, 2020 tax stamp cahsed July 17, 2020. Approved January 12, 2021. 179 days from when the tax stamp was cashed.

I’m waiting on an optimus micro right now. Cashed beginning of December. My last was 4 months, doubt I’ll get lucky twice but a guy can hope.

The optimus micro seems like it’s going to be the cats ass for rimfire and my 223 bolt gun. I binos it won’t be impressive quite on my 223, but it’s 5” long, skinny and dosnt weigh much.
