Suppressor vs Muzzle Brake for Long Range Hunting

I prefer the recoil reduction of a brake but I also like my cans.
Anything 6.5 prc and below will have a can, anything larger will get a brake.

I think stock design has a big part in spotting impacts as well.

At the range, when shooting my braked rifle, I’m just mindful of the other shooters who are trying to enjoy their day too. I’m retired, can shoot during the week ( less crowded) at my private club range. That helps of course. Just trying to remember something some guy said over 2K years ago about doing unto others.
