What has everyone found works best to prevent suppressors from loosening up in the field?

Today I had my scythe come loose, which it has done before. I don’t have this issue with my other cans…..

First 5 shots

10th shot on the second string of 5 was low

Shots 10-15 I knew something was wrong and probably should have quit.

Checked suppressor before shooting last 5 shots and tightened it back up - shot a clean target.

Rocksett is the most common
I've also used blue loctite as a less permanent method if I plan on swapping or removing the can

Just to clarify, rocksett isn't permanent but can be a pain sometimes

I haven’t had issues with mine coming loose, but I do check it periodically. After a few shots, I’d check and give it a good hard turn.

I dont have issues with suppressors coming loose if I crank em tight like I have a pair. On the Scythe i did have to make sure the brake or end cap was cranked on tight with a spanner wrench and the hub mount was very tight as well as they both came loose when I ran them like they came from sico. Only other issues ive had is with area 419 adapters because there's 3 things that screw on and 1 of the 3 has opposing threads so it is easy to loosen one while tightening another. Crank the shit out of the first adapter onto the barrel and slightly less thereafter and it stopped being a problem.

Down side to cranking everything that tight is sometimes you need a strap wrench to get things loose.

I was having this problem too until I took the advice of someone on here and after hand tightening my suppressor, I just give it a few “snaps” (think an exaggerated, quick hand tighten with lots of forearm movement) and haven’t had loosening since.

I would guess a pitch dia issue with the can mount. Carbon should lock it up pretty good after a few shots.
My other cans are like that and PIA to get off sometimes. This thing has came loose on every barrel I’ve used it on and I crank it on super hard!

That works for me. No Scythe though.

If I kept having a problem, I would wrench it on and off. I might try loctite.
