Suppressor seals

@Dioni A , did you try sticking to a suppressor that has a “funky” muzzle? I have always used electrical tape on an unsuppressed muzzle, which has worked well even in crazy wet/cold conditions—but I recently got my first suppressor and have been wondering what to try. I have a DD enticer ti, there isnt really a “flat” on the muzzle for any type of tape to adhere to. Any thoughts on what works best? Think these would work well?

The flash hider on my ab-a10 was what led me to use the balloons, I bet if the diameter of the sticker could reach that outer edge you would have a solid seal

Edit:Speaking specifically to the suppressor you have shown

Couple wraps of electrical or gorilla tape around your nalgene, set for a entire hunt and has many uses.

This looks like you might be able to get it to work. It could fit on either the inside flat or if it touches enough of the outside flat it would stick good. There's no great option on some suppressors though. I have an AB A10 with an even dumber end cap. I'll probably end up grinding it off.

@Dioni A I can certainly follow the logic behind this product, even if I don' want to pay for it. Trying to apply electrical tape in the field to a cold/wet/frozen suppressor doesn't work very well. I just had a thought, have you ever tried Leukotape or Nexcare tape? I always have a roll of Nexcare on me for foot care and that shit sticks to anything. I have never thought to try it on my suppressor though.

Whats the diameter of the seal? Did not see that listed on their website. Just wondering where on my suppressor it’ll cover in order to reach a flat area.

WTF on the "have you tried" responses here, guys - dude has gone out of his way to test a product for a company and share info here, and people are $h*tting on that. Well-meaning or not, do you not want our seasoned Roksliders sharing good info on new products??? Because that's how you get guys not sharing new info on new products.

Waiting for someone to suggest maxi pads, Trojan Magnums, target pasters, corks, bumper stickers, silicone wrap, and ear plugs. What's next?

I'm going to go buy some of these just for the hell of it now.

i’d argue that the “have you tried ___” questions are fair and offer the opportunity to show why these stickers stand out compared to the diy alternatives. they’re a good idea if not a bit niche.

Respectfully, "have you tried" comes across more as an invalidation of the product.

"How do these Magpie seals compare to using _____ " would be more fair, and I don't think anyone would have a problem with that.

Along those lines, given that this is a first-to-market item in its category, all anyone could compare it to is stuff like different kinds of tape, etc, that we're all using. A comparison would be interesting.

@RockAndSage agree with your sentiment
@Dioni A in addition to the question on diameter...you're saying these don't leave a residue, correct? it was kind of inferred but just confirming.

I believe the "sticker" shock is the pain point....

Looks like a great product and something I would use sparingly for specific hunts.
