I haven't acted sensitive at all. I gave a reasonable interpretation of how people would take what you said.

Well, I appreciate it. I've personally struggled to find a good solution for this for my suppressor, and calling a 3m industrial adhesive on a waterproof fabric backing "tape" is like calling a nuclear submarine a "boat". It's true, but it misses some fairly relevant info. If someone wants to give an experience-based comparison of this versus the less-$ products I will happily pay attention as I have no desire to toss $ into the wind, but given the uneven surface and very limited flat area to adhere to that I'm working with, if I need to spend $20 to reliably cover my muzzle even dragging it thru brush all day in below-freezing rain/snow, I'll do that.

The $2 seal I slap on during a rainy day hiking through the brush settles with me a lot better than the bottle of water I have to pick up at the convenience store for 100% more money if I forget to fill up at home.
