I currently use a Browning X-bolt .300 wsm with 26” barrel. Really want to shoot suppressed moving forward.

What caliber and platform do you guys recommend that is suppressor ready that I can use for any size game from antelope to Elk?

I like the browning x bolt 2pro SPR, not sure I like the price tag though. 7 prc, 6.8 western, 300 win, 300 prc?

Yep just chop and thread the one you have.

If you absolutely need to buy a new rifle, then I would recommend a 7-08. Because it is me, I would AI it, however you could go 7SAW and skip the fireforming.

No need for a magnum to do what you want to do with it.

I recently ditched a braked 7mmRM that used to be that rifle for me.

Used that money to fund a 19" Tikka .243AI in a Rokstok. Suppressed, amazing to shoot, and with ELDM'S I have zero hesitation killing everything including elk with it.

Magnums, suppressed, at weights I want to carry, are enough recoil that I have to either be in a really solid prone position, or shooting past 500 or so in order to reliably spot impacts. I'm not willing to give up spotting impacts at normal hunting ranges from less than ideal field positions. A guy could go 6.5CM and probably be fine with good fundamentals, but I've been impressed enough with the 108 ELDM that I decided to take the next step down in recoil and the next step up in velocity/range error forgiveness. If I were doing it over, 6CM is definitely more practical and the real world difference in hitting/killing is minimal.
