Gun: savage ultralight 110 in 300wsm

Direct threaded onto barrel
When can was purchased 2 years ago, I was using hand loaded 220 grain ammo and there was no POI change. I was expected to have to make adjustments and I left the range without touching a thing.
Fast forward to today, I am about through with my hand loaded ammo and don’t want to hand load anymore. I wanted to go with an over the counter bullet and dial everything in to send off to Luepold for my CDS dial.
First couple of shots without the suppressor were about 4” high which made sense as new rounds are only 200 grain. Was about to shoot 4 rounds after I made the adjustments within about a 1” group.
Put the Nomad on and first shot was 4” low and 2” left. Thought maybe I pulled the shot. Shot 3 more within an inch.
Wasn’t sure why such a huge poi shift so I removed the nomad. Back to dead perfect. Put the nomad back on, back to a great shot group but 4” low and 2” left.
Why such a huge POI change? My buddy has the same gun same caliber using the same rounds I’m trying to switch too and went from no suppressor to suppressor (tbac 6) and shots didn’t move (or were within his skill level of staying around a 1” group).
Any help is appreciated.
