Does anyone know if there is enough of a shoulder to properly seat a suppressor? From what I can gather, the barrel is .704” and 5/8” thread =.625” so that only leaves approx .079” of a shoulder for the suppressor to seat against

Here’s some reading on muzzle threading. Probably not enough meat

Thanks for that info... looks like the bergara ridge is just under the cardinal rule of .100” shoulder above the major thread diameter.

Guess I’ll keep looking at different guns. Maybe the suppressor ready browning rifle may be the way to go

There's a whole lotta rifles out there wearing suppressors with similar situations. PH havaks measure 0.7" at the muzzle and people dont think twice about putting a suppressor on them.

I wouldn't think twice about putting a suppressor on it, but take that for what you paid for it.

My Seekins Element barrel is .700, & will be wearing a GAP Jäger Suppressor until I get
The Bartlein #4 installed, then it gets the Jäger

Get a competent Smith to thread it 1/2x28 then either cut you or buy an adapter. My shop has done this for a number of guys with thinner barrels and It works well.

Another option is a brake mounted suppressor with a brake in 1/2x28, either commercially available with a larger diameter hole (assuming your aren’t shooting smaller than .224) or have a smith/Machinest open it up.

Thanks for the ideas but I already have the suppressor (harvester) and I’m looking for a rifle that come threaded from the factory
