suppressor jail time

This might be a dumb question, but how long do you have after buying a suppressor to get the paperwork rolling on it?

I'd like to buy an OG 6.5 while they're in stock, but it will be a few weeks before I can get somewhere to submit everything.

I’m not sure that there is a time limit unless your dealer gives you one, but for what it’s worth it took about 2 weeks for my og65 to reach my dealer and then the dealer had to add it to his inventory which took another 3-4 days.

Im also in the same situation as wyldgoose, Im sure mine has been approved but I was traveling when I found out about the email glitch and didn’t get home until yesterday after the eform site was shut down. Ill be in town on the 2nd so Ill swing by my dealer and see if we can get it figured out.

My dealer is holding my 2 Airlock's until Jan 1 to save me a little $. Looking forward to the sh!t show...

I’ve been waiting on the Form 4 approval for my .375 AB Raptor 10 since December 12th. So much for paying for a tax stamp to get it before the new year. At this point I just hope I get it in time to do load development for next season.

You might want to check with your dealer. There was an issue with approval emails in december, dealers need to manually check for approvals

Went by my dealer today to see if he could see my approval. He said the eforms site is so busy he hasn’t been able to log on all day. There were 4 people in the shop wanting to certify multiple forms. Poor guy looked very frustrated.

Just got a call from my LGS and was able to Certify my form 4. Went in to do it yesterday, and the system was too busy to even get it approved. Now I guess we will just wait to see how long it takes to get approved.

The same thing happened to me. The system was jammed up, and I wasn't able to complete the submission/certification process. I'll have to go back on Monday and try again.

Well it took calling the atf, emailing the atf and my dealer calling the atf but finally got this all sorted out and I was able to pick up my OG65 that was approved in December.

I was able to get my approved forms by emailing [email protected]. I got an initial automated email that basically says they would not provide me with any information and about 20 minutes later I got another email with my approved form 4. If you are waiting on approval from December and never got an email you might try emailing the atf requesting the forms like I did.
